Royal Authentic Restaurant is one of Al Danah’s most established dining destinations — a kitchen built around the belief that great food should be generous, genuine and available to everyone. Located on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi, we serve Arabic, Pakistani and Indian cuisine under one roof, and we have been doing so for a community that knows exactly what authentic cooking tastes like.
We are not a fusion restaurant. We are not a simplified version of food traditions made palatable for the widest possible audience. Our Food
The menu at Royal Authentic Restaurant reflects three of the world’s most celebrated food cultures — and each one is given the attention it deserves.
Our Pakistani dishes are rooted in the traditions of the subcontinent: slow-cooked Nihari prepared overnight, Halwa Puri sets assembled fresh every morning, karahis and handis that develop their flavour over hours rather than minutes, biryanis layered with the care that the dish demands. Pakistani food at its best is food that takes time — and our kitchen gives it that time.
Our Arabic dishes reflect the generosity and boldness of the Levant and the Gulf — rice dishes prepared with the spicing of the region, grills and BBQ served with the accompaniments that complete them, the kind of food that a large table of family or friends can share and feel properly fed by.
Our Indian dishes add the breadth and variety that Indian cooking has always represented — curries, dals, vegetarian dishes, fried snacks & breads that span the full range of the subcontinent’s regional traditions.
